Job Title: Social Media VP

Summary: Leads Opulence social media strategy, production, account management and staff management while driving ongoing growth of the Social Media division.

Role:

  • Leads client programs and budget development
  • Leads team in the development of social media campaign strategies and execution
  • Constantly find ways to create organic social media opportunities with agency clients
  • Oversees account performance
  • Serves as strategic voice and counsel
  • Provides a strategic point of view to clients and colleagues
  • Oversees the workflow of senior and junior level staff and client reporting, making sure deadlines and program KPIs are met
  • Educates agency and clients on best practices
  • Creates documents for agency use
  • Conducts trainings and meetings
  • Creates billing and service pricing
  • Manages accounts and team’s time allocation
  • Represents division in new business proposals and presentations
  • Work closely with senior management team to plan and strategize

Characteristics and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant Social Media experience, agency-side preferred. Experience managing a team/division and multiple client accounts and campaigns required. A solid understanding of earned, paid, shared and owned media is required.  Candidates should bring excellent client communications and service to the role, in addition to strong account management and presentation skills. Ideal candidates will be able to create and implement a process-oriented experience. We are seeking someone with a strong marketing foundation who stays current and knows what is trending online before anyone else. Ability to think in a quantitative and qualitative manner and follow successful workflows and processes.
